NHS 111 Online
111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
- Treat yourself at home
- Go to a Primary Care Centre
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
Click here to access NHS 111 online or call 111 to speak to a staff member.
When We Are Closed
If you need to see a doctor urgently when the surgery is closed please phone the surgery and follow the instructions. You will be put through to an ‘out-of-hours’ service on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen CCG. They will pass a message to the doctor on duty who may phone you to assess your problem. You might be asked to attend the out-of-hours clinic, or receive a home visit.
Alternatively you can phone NHS 111 or visit their website at https://111.nhs.uk/ . NHS 111 offers free expert health information and advice 24 hours a day. It can advise you whether you need to go to the nearest A&E (accident and emergency) where you can obtain advice and treatment.
Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.
